Cam’ron Pulls Off Savage Prank on Omar Gooding with Fake Movie Booking

The long-running feud between rapper Cam’ron and actor Omar Gooding has just reached a new level of pettiness — and creativity.

In a recent Instagram video, Cam revealed he booked Gooding for a film shoot in Miami… that never actually existed. “I booked him for a movie that’s never coming out,” Cam said with a laugh. “You thought those producers were legit? They are — but they’re my people. I was behind the scenes just laughing at you.”

Cam even shared footage of Gooding on set before making another tongue-in-cheek offer: perform at his goddaughter’s baby shower or record another diss track, and he’ll pay him again. According to Cam, the prank cost him about $3,500, far less than an NBA game ticket — but with way more entertainment value for him. He’s even named the stunt “Book My Opps.”

Gooding didn’t seem too bothered, claiming he still walked away with $2,500 “to do some push-ups with my shirt off” and joking that it’s even better knowing the project will never see the light of day. He also hinted at having dirt on Cam, warning him to “be careful,” before cheekily asking to be “booked” for a Toronto gig next.

The bad blood between the two reportedly began when Cam’ron appeared to confuse Omar with his brother Cuba Gooding Jr. during a past rant about Black actors waiting for big opportunities instead of creating their own.
